Announcements and Music for May 12th

All,

Thank you to all for your help and support for yesterday’s concert.  From all accounts we were a wonderful success.  We were completely cleaned up and off the stage by 5:15 pm.  Shenkman uses the GCCB as an example of a large group that knows how to work with their technicians to set up and tear down a complex stage set up in record time.  I hope everyone had fun performing.  From what I could tell the friends and parents of the choir kids loved their performance.  I was talking with Joy Statham briefly at Intermission and then following our concert.  She was very moved by our tribute to Ragnar and sincerely thanked us all.  I see that several pics and vids have made it onto our Facebook page.  If anyone has any pictures or vids that they would like to share with our band, if they are not too large, please email them to this account or bring them in on a flash drive and I will work with Analee to have them posted to our webpage.

Reminder that Kristen’s term as Treasurer is coming to and end.  We are looking for a volunteer to replace her on our Executive.  Please let either Kristen or I know if you have any questions or are interested in the position.

You will be receiving a Continue, Start, Stop Survey link by email shortly.  As this is your Executive’s way of seeking feedback on our season, please give some thought as to what you liked about our season, what you want to see us start that we’re not doing and what you would like to see us discontinue.  We will discuss the results at our upcoming Executive meeting on May 25th and then present a summary at our AGM on Jun 9th.  If you would like to keep your feedback anonymous, I will have a box at our practice on May 12th for you to submit your feedback on paper.
