Announcements and Music for Nov 24th, Dec 1st and Seniors Homes
For those who have expressed interest in performing as small ensembles in order to promote our Christmas concert, all seven Yamaha Christmas Ensembles books have now been scanned and are on our Google Drive. I’ve sent a link to these books to each of your Section Leaders. Each book is written for a different instrument such as E flat Alto Sax / Baritone Sax, Horn in F, Flute / Oboe, B flat Tenor Sax, etc. The set includes music for 19 different Christmas Carols and are very simply written; would not take long to rehearse and could possibly be sight read on the spot. If you’re interested in promoting our concert, please let me know and pick up a GCCB music stand banner and additional flyers to hand out at your small ensemble performance.
Thanks to a concerted effort by Diane and Cindy, we now have Christmas Concert tickets for sale. They will be available for purchase at next Tuesday’s rehearsal. We would like to raffle away Poinsettia’s for those that bring a donation to the food bank at our concert. If anyone has any family or friends who are a florist please let Cindy know as soon as possible and we will send our business their way.

We will be wearing our band shirts and black pants and shoes for all of these events. Both Seniors concerts will be half band. Section Leaders please make the call as to which seniors concerts your members will perform at.
