Announcements and Music for April 4th
Great rehearsal last night! We’re covering an incredible volume of pieces but have a busy and exciting June performance schedule creeping up on us. Please take the time to go over your music and parts prior to rehearsal. For some of our road show pieces, we may be going over it once or twice now and then performing it on May 16th or Jun 6th at the senior’s homes. It makes a world of difference how much we can accomplish at rehearsal if you practice and go over your own parts ahead of time.
The Canadian Band Association (CBA) will be hosting its second Community Brass Band Weekend in Barrie the weekend of April 21 – 23rd. If you are interested in participating details can be found at the following link:

Reminder that Lisa’s colleague Filomena is hosting the 2nd annual Give Gala on April 22nd. All proceeds raised will be donated to the Transplant Patient and Family Support Fund at the University Health Network. If you are interested in going or in putting together a GCCB table (10 people) please let Lisa know as soon as possible.
